These songs took a long time to find a home. Some were finished during another life, a few are brand new, and most of them languished for years without the final touches that they so desperately needed.

One thing they all had in common was that they didn't fit anywhere else. They had rhythms and string sections and song structures. They shared bits and pieces with each other and with other songs you might have heard. They contained samples and field recordings of Stuff I'm Always Hearing.

Even if they didn't belong on any previous albums, they -- like any group of delightful misfits -- belonged together. So here they are in a surprisingly coherent full-length release!
