Borders Banished is Adam Thornton (Canada) and Don Poe (USA). They have never met in person but have a high respect for each other’s music, so they decided to share material “at a distance” and release this album.

Taking turns, one of them would start a song and send it to the other for manipulation, with little or no guidance provided - both Don and Adam had free reign to manipulate, change timings, sounds and complete structures to songs.

The result is a unique mixture of organic and electronic, beats and drones, voices and samples, and everything else that made them happy.

Don Poe is also a member of Khamsa Khala (khamsakhala.bandcamp.com) and Ancient Inc. (ancientinc.bandcamp.com) Prior to this, Don also recorded with Deathpile and LLXTA. Find the complete overview at www.muteelation.com
